This is probably the most concentrated period of drama in Goonfleet history. I will attempt to parse the diagram above. Tolon promised to sing a song if enough people showed up, which was an amazing motivator --this may be when Little Bees was first recorded and/or played. Somehow, Tolon had managed to turn the war back against BoB, and this was the point where it first became apparent to the swarm as a whole. We had the collective realization that, hey, we can win this. Bolstered by Tolon's star power, we completely defeat a BoB fleet in at fair fight, another thing the membership had some doubts about. So militarily, things were cooking.
Then, while the forums were already charged with giddy victory, Billy Merc and Flipover both were banned pending investigation into their timecard businesses. At the time we thought they were permabanned. I believe their bannings were a result of them petitioning each other.
Then some nobody pubbie demanded that we abandon Tenerifis and the fight with BoB to defend his medium pos in lowsec on the other side of the game. I forget who that was, but boy was he mad.
Then Remedial's Penis was posted on the forums. Then it was on CAOD. Then Remedial threatened to sue us and Solo (over?)reacted.
Then we blew up 16 of BoB's POS because they were in total retreat. Then we took RISE because, hey, they couldn't defend their space without BoB there.
So basically it was the finest 48 hours of Goonfleet's existence, second only to February 12th.
