Thanatos
Thanatos
Sensing the need for a more moderately-priced version of the Nyx, Federation Navy authorities commissioned the design of the Thanatos. Designed to act primarily as a fighter carrier for small- to mid-scale engagements, its significant defensive capabilities and specially-fitted fighter bays make it ideal for its intended purpose.

[edit] Overview

The Thanatos is a very versatile carrier that excels in most of things a carrier is required to do. It can assist subcapital fleets with remote shield and armor reps, as well as rep control towers with the shield transfer. The Fighter damage bonus will help you fuck up battleships faster, and it has the largest fighter bay out of any of the carriers. In addition, it has no fitting or capacitor problems, and the Moros is a solid dreadnought which directly takes advantage of any skillpoints you throw into Drones. It doesn't tank as well as the Archon or Chimera, however.

The plural form of the word "Thanatos" (θάνατος) is "Thanatoi" (θάνατοι). Feel free to shit up threads in The War Room arguing about it.
