![]() Name: Eos Hull: Brutix Role: Fleet Command Ship Command ships are engineered specifically to wreak havoc on a battlefield of many. Sporting advanced command module interfaces, these vessels are more than capable of turning the tide in large engagements. Fleet command ships represent the ultimate in warfare link efficiency; while not packing the punch of their field command counterparts, the boosts they give their comrades in combat make them indispensable assets to any well-rounded fleet. Developer: CreoDron As the largest drone developer and manufacturer in space, CreoDron has a vested interest in drone carriers. While sacrificing relatively little in the way of defensive capability, the Eos can chew its way through surprisingly strong opponents - provided, of course, that the pilot uses top-of-the-line CreoDron drones. | ||

[edit] Overview
Until Trinity, this ship was one of the best ships in the game. Able to field a strong tank, five heavy (or other assorted drones) and seven blasters, it could hold its own in a fight against multiple opponents and often come out on top. After Trinity, two of the turrets were removed, and the drone capabilities nerfed so it could only launch three heavies at a time, bringing it in line with other fleet command ships.
It's useful only as a bonus ship for EWar ships such as the Blackbird, Celestis, Scorpion or any recons that have bonuses to EWar.
[edit] Bonuses
Battlecruiser Skill Bonus:
- 5% bonus to Medium Hybrid Turret damage
- 7.5% bonus to Armor Repairer effectiveness per level
Command Ships Skill Bonus:
- +15 m3 extra Drone Bay space per level
- 3% bonus to effectiveness of Information Warfare Links per level
Role Bonus:
- 99% reduction in Warfare Link module CPU need.
- Can use 3 Warfare Link modules simultaneously.
[edit] Warfare Link Bonus Values
The formula to calculate the bonus provided by Warfare Links is as follows:
Gang Link Bonus * Warfare Link Specialist Bonus * Warfare Specialist Bonus * Command Ship Bonus (if applicable) * Mindlink Bonus (if applicable)
The Information Warfare Links are all base 2%. Assuming Information Link Specialist IV, Information Warfare Specialist V, Command Ships IV, each Information Warfare Link will provide:
- Without Mindlink: .02 * 1.4 * 5 * 1.12 = 15.68% bonus
- With Mindlink: .02 * 1.4 * 5 * 1.12 * 1.5 = 23.52% bonus

Black Ops Support Eos
|
- High
- 1x Information Warfare Link - Electronic Superiority
- 1x Information Warfare Link - Recon Operation
- 1x Information Warfare Link - Sensor Integrity
- 3x 200mm Railgun II
- 1x Improved Cloaking Device II
- Medium
- 1x 10MN Microwarpdrive II
- 1x Medium Cap Booster II (800s)
- 1x Sensor Booster II (bring both scripts)
- 1x Warp Disruptor II
- Low
- 2x Medium Armor Repairer II
- 1x Armor Explosive Hardener II
- 1x Damage Control II
- 2x Adaptive Nano Plating II
- Rigs
- 2x Aux Nano Pump I
- Drones
Bring a set of 2 heavies, 2 mediums and a light for damage, some spares and some repair drones for patching up (or repping during a fight if you really want).
Fits with AWU IV and a 3% Powergrid Implant. You are DPS backup and gang bonus whore for blackops. While some of the gang mods stack with shit you can add up to 1.5 jam strength to a 3 SDA II Falcon despite that. You could use this to bait if you want I guess but it's a little expensive for that.
[edit] Still a Viable Trinity Combat Ship
- High
- 5x Heavy Ion Blaster II
- 2x Medium Nosferatu II
- Medium
- 1x 10MN Microwarpdrive II
- 1x Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster (800s)
- 1x Stasis Webifier II
- 1x Warp Disruptor II
- Low
- 2x Medium Armor Repairer II
- 1x Armor Explosive Hardener II
- 1x Damage Control II
- 1x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
- 1x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
- Rigs
- 2x Auxiliary Nano Pump I
- Drones
- 2x Ogre II
- 2x Hammerhead II
- 1x Hobgoblin II
First of all, you can field several flights of those drones so there's no reason not to go for max damage. Second, you can still deal about 400 DPS while tanking about 600 so the Eos is still a very viable combat ship. It just doesn't deal 700 DPS anymore like the Astarte.
