PL are an alliance focused on the use of hit-and-run tactics and fast moving gangs of primarily tech 2 cruisers, especially heavy assault ships. While not permanently friendly with Goonswarm, tend to help out whenever the fight is against BoB. In serious decline now, after the loss of their stations in Fountain and growing ennui.

[edit] The Great War
Originally formed after the corporations Sniggerdly (infamous for several reasons, not least because they posted not-entirely tongue in cheek recruitment threads on SA) and North Eastern Swat (ex-KOS) were fighting together in Curse, and moved to Scalding Pass to help fight against BoB. Relocated to Delve to harass BoB once the latter had been pushed back to Feythopolis, at which point Black Omega Security, long-term Goonfleet allies since Syndicate (and ex-members of Goonswarm) joined PL.
After spending some time in Delve, the Goonswarm counterattack against BoB had moved to Feyth, particularly the RIT triangle held by RISE aliance, who had been the target of Black Ops operations for some time aimed at disrupting their carebearing. PL moved in to Stain to aid in the RIT campaign, moving in large numbers of HACs and Recons, plus cap-stable Armageddons for disabling station services. With all stations disabled and no ability to make isk, RISE crumbled quickly, receiving a backhanded 'motivational speech' from a BoB member that only served to hasten their collapse. This campaign established a long-running collaboration between Goonfleet Black Ops and PL.
After the RIT campaign, PL relocated to various regions, first to Fountain, and then Venal, to help shore up the Northern Coalition's efforts against Mercenary Coalition, then back to Delve during the final push.
[edit] Titan Legion
Once the Delve campaign failed, PL moved back to Fountain, beginning a punishment campaign against BRUCE, again in conjunction with Black Ops, as retribution for their failure to help in substantial ways against BoB. The trifling matter of Fountain's massive moon mining resources may also have played a role. In any event, BRUCE collapsed after a relatively short campaign, and PL proceeded to claim Fountain in conjunction with Sons of Tangra, an alliance comprised of old OSS members, and in particular many Bulgarian players.
Once Fountain was secure, PL, having tasted the sweet nectar of dysprosium and promethium, proceeded to go snatch up moons from every neighboring region they could, using them to fund a rapidly growing capital ship fleet including a substantial number of titans. Around this time, ex-Triumvirate corporation The Illuminati. (OSHIT) joined, and quickly established themselves as the worst corporation in the alliance. A standings reset with Goonfleet followed around this point, ostensibly because the campaign against BoB was over, after which OSHIT members caused drama by killing Goonfleet ratters in Scalding pass and other back regions. PL members lost Goonfleet.com forum access shortly thereafter in a day that will live forever in infamy.
[edit] MAX and afterwards
When BoB began their MAX campaign against the NC, PL moved to Venal to back them up, and were involved (either directly or via :spies:) in the destruction of three titans, two owned by BoB and one owned by Triumvirate in its second incarnation. The latter was noteworthy because it was killed by a 30 man remote rep battleships gang with no capital ship involvement, the first instance where a titan died under those circumstances. When MAX ended, PL relocated back to Fountain again. More recently, with the unholy alliance of BoB with the now-hostile Against All Authorities, PL have moved in to support Goonfleet again, directly participating in the destruction of another BoB titan, which was killed with substantial Goonfleet involvement in BoB's staging system.
[edit] Delve Mk. II
When BoB was disbanded (reforming as KenZoku), and their Delve holdings lost their sovereignty defenses, PL quickly relocated from Curse to Delve proper to support the new invasion. Basing out of G-TT, 2 jumps from Kenny's base in PR-, and 3 jumps from NOL. On the first day of the sovereignty loss, before the ex-BoB corps joined Kenny, PL sieged the now unprotected NOL outpost, taking control of it briefly and renaming the station from "The Alamo" to "The Lmao". Having Dined in NOL, they continued to provide direct gang support, FCs, and titan logistics as the offensive progressed, and placed towers in a peripheral Kenny Sov 4 constellation to contest that claim. PL were heavily involved in the climactic battles of February 12th/13th when Kenny lost several capital ship assembly arrays, critical sov-claiming POSs, an Aeon class mothership, and yet another Titan piloted by Shrike.
[edit] Victory in Delve, and Beyond
With KenZoku chased out of Delve, Querious, and Period basis, PL forces redeployed out of Delve for the first time in 6 months. There may also have been some brief drama involving doomsdays and smartbombing battleships, but it was largely of no consequence. Rumors of an impending standings reset between PL and GoonSwarm eventually turned out on July 11th, after several deployments with GoonFleet Foreign Legion against ATLAS, Against All Authorities, and other hostile alliances in support of Red Alliance and Legion of xXDEATHXx.
[edit] IT Alliance and the Fall of Fountain
After KenZoku disbanded, there was a period of several months where PL invaded the NC and engaged in several large capital ship engagements there, primarily involving moon mining POSs. While the engagements tended to favor PL, there was some lasting damage to the relationship between PL and NC forces, as might be expected. This turned out to have serious consequences when the remnants of BoB, augmented with numbers from their former pets, reformed into IT Alliance. Their first order of business was targeting PL moons in low security space, followed by a concerted invasion into Fountain in December of 2009. Facing a large, determined foe, and with increasing disdain for defensive warfare (especially with the reduction in value of their Fountain holdings due to the Dominion patch), PL struggled to mount an effective defense of the region. This culminated in a large battle in Y-2AN0, a station system bordering Delve, in which sovereignty was lost by Sons of Tangra following a corp loss. IT Alliance capitalized on this departure and attempted to take the system, and an attempt was made to jump capital and supercapital assets into their extensive (600+ man) camp. This did not end well, with most capitals never loading the system, and PL suffered a record 4 titan losses while unable to act. Following this decimation, PL failed to conduct any additional significant actions in Fountain prior to losing the remainder of their outposts. The future of PL at this point remains up in the air.

Notable personalities in Pandemic Legion include The Adj, an ex-RAZOR fleet commander with a history of working with Goons, as well as Shadoo, leader of NESW and one of the most skilled FCs in the game. In addition, notorious hacker Kugutsumen also has close ties with SNIGG members.
