Amarrian RP (lol) alliance living in Providence. For roleplayers, CVA are pretty much the cream of the crop, with a large, active membership and good FCs. They also control a ridiculous number of outposts in a relatively poor 0.0 region, and their holdings are remarkably stable relative to most other 0.0 entities.

CVA's early alliance history was as a roleplaying alliance fighting against the Minmatar alliance Ushra'Khan, and for a considerable period of time they had constant, non-territorial fighting. This eventually escalated, and CVA were able to conquer the entirety of UK space, securing Providence and booting the latter to lowsec. Other noteworthy events in CVA history include the attempted invasion of their space by Triumvirate in one of their incarnations. Despite widespread belief that CVA would quickly capitulate, they held their own and, in the end, Triumvirate left the region after heavy losses.

CVA operates under a NRDS (not red, don't shoot) policy which encourages non-affiliated players to use Providence as a safer extension of Empire. CVA are anti-piracy and anti-NBSI (not blue, shoot it), and as such alliances operating as pirates or under NBSI policy are set red. Currently GoonSwarm is red to CVA while we have CVA set neutral.

[edit] Relationship

The main political relationship between Goonswarm and CVA (and other Providence entities) is a mutual dislike of AAA and BoB; the former, in particular, like to harass CVA in conjunction with historical enemies (turned AAA pets) Ushra'Khan. However, in the present strategic situation (Delve being on the opposite side of AAA space) standings between the two entities are not required.
